Demucking defined
Demucking is the removal of mud, sediment, scale and heavy sticky residues from cargo tank bottoms and structures. It is the bulk-clearance step that makes subsequent washing, gas freeing and inspection realistic.
Without demucking, wash cycles recirculate dirt, gas readings stay unstable and wall-wash targets slip.
